Abstract
In order to clarify the issue of water crisis with a forward-looking perspective, the investigation and identification of water-related crimes and the main causes and factors of committing crimes and finally the practical strategies to deal with the water crisis have been discussed. In this project, firstly, the existing situation was investigated using the in-depth interview method, and the main crimes and violations in the field of water resources were identified and ranked at the provincial level. In the next step, using ARCGIS 10.4 software, a map of water-related crimes was prepared at the province level, then, using the SWOT model, solutions were presented to reduce the water crisis and achieve sustainable development. The results showed that the economic and management index with relative weights of 0.334 and 0.263 respectively have the most importance in committing crimes in the province. The results of the density percentage of unauthorized wells showed that Dehgolan city with a density percentage of 79.44 has the priority of the highest density of unauthorized wells compared to other cities of the province, which according to the analyzed statistics, there is a high correlation between the number of unauthorized wells and land subsidence in the studied area.
