Dr. Behzad Shahmoradi is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Engineering, Faculty of Health, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences (Iran). He completed his B.E. in Urmia University of Medical Sciences (2003), his M.Sc. in University ofMysore, India (2007) and his PhD in the same University of Mysore, India in 2011. In recent years, he has been responsible for many research projects and guidance and supervising for postgraduate and PhD Scholars in the field of Environmental Health Engineering. In addition to publishing numerous scientific articles in reputed journals, he has translated several volumes of specialized books from English to Persian, authored two volumes of English books, and published two chapters of the book in English. His research focus is on the synthesis of doped nanoparticles to photodegrade environmental pollutants and since 2011 is a full-time geographical faculty member of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences (iran). He is currently the Editor-in-Chief, and along with Dr. Ata Amini, the Founder and Owner of Environment and Water Engineering (EWE).

Dr. Ata Amini is a Professor of water resources engineering at Kurdistan Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center, AREEO, Sanandaj, Iran. He completed his doctorate at the University Putra Malaysia in 2009. In recent years, he has been in charge of many research projects and supervised many masters and Ph.D. students in the fields of water engineering and watershed management. Apart from many scientific papers, he is the author of five books and three book chapters. He has devoted his academic career to study of the integrated water resources management, river engineering, sediment, scouring, and watershed management. Dr. Ata Amini has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has published many academic papers and final research reports. He is currently serving as the co-founder, co-owner, and the Director-in-Charge of the Environment and Water Engineering journal (EWE).

Dr. Mohammad Tajbakhsh has been working in Birjand University, Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment since 1996, and before that in 1995 in Khorasan Razavi Agricultural Research Center and in 1992 and 1993 in Jihad Engineering Services Company (Khorasan Razavi Office). His field of activity has been water and soil protection and geomorphology. In addition to teaching courses at different levels of education, he has been engaged in research and study projects and from 2013 to 2021 was a member of the board and chairman of the Iranian Rainwater Catchment Systems Association.

Dr. Jaefar Nikbakht is an Associate Professor of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering at the University of Zanjan, Iran. He completed his B.Sc. at the University of Tabriz (1993-1997), M.Sc. at the University of Tarbiat Modares (1997-2000) and Ph.D. at the University of Tarbiat Modares (2000-2006). In recent years, he has supervised and advised master's and doctoral students in the fields of water engineering, horticulture and agronomy. Dr. Nikbakht has also published more than 70 articles in domestic and international scientific journals, translated a book into Persian, and conducted several research projects.

Dr. Raoof Mostafazadeh is faculty member (Professor, Associate) at Department of Natural Resources (Watershed Management), University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, IRAN. He gained his Ph.D in Watershed Management at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU), Iran. Raoof received B.Sc. and M.Sc from (GUASNR) (2004, 2009). Raoof has published 12 books in Watershed Management, and also more than 160 articles in valid journals, and 110 papers in scientific conferences, and 5 research projects in field of Watershed Management. He has supervised 33 Theses and advised 35 M.Sc and Ph.D Theses, and has been responsible for holding several national and international conferences. Raoof's research interests include: Watershed Hydrology, Integrated Watershed Management, Wet and dry spells analysis in hydroclimatologic data, temporal and spatial patterns of extreme flows (Flood and drought), and environmental flow assessment.
