Among heavy metals, lead is one of the most challenging toxic contaminants. Using lead-contaminated soils requires their decontamination and improvement. The objective of this study was to investigate the possibility of lead decontamination from soil and to estimate the optimal clean up time using Portulaca oleracea L. and Amaranthus retroflexus. For this purpose, a completely randomized design with five treatments of 30 (standard), 150, 300, 600 and 1200 mg/kg each with three replicates was performed. The results indicated that for both plants a non-linear positive relation exists between the lead concentrations in soil and that accumulated in plant roots and shoots. The highest extracted lead which was accumulated in roots of Portulaca oleracea L. and Amaranthus retroflexus were 173.39 and 149.76 mg/kg, and in their shoots were 20.01 and 5.82 mg/kg, respectively. Translocation factor was obtained from 0.62 to 0.12 for Portulaca oleracea L. and from 0.14 to 0.04 for Amaranthus retroflexus. The translocation factor in both plants was obtained to be less than one, indicating poor lead transfer from root to the shoot. Due to the ability of the above plants to absorb large amounts of lead from the root zone, high plant yield and the ability to accumulate lead in harvestable organs, both plants were highly effective for remediation of lead from soil surface up to concentrations several times of the allowable lead concentration. However, due to the clean-up time and the amount of biomass produced, the Amaranthus retroflexus had a better ability to remediate contaminated soils.}, keywords = {Lead,Phytoextraction,Soil contamination,Translocation factor}, title_fa = {گیاه پالایی و تخمین زمان بهینه پالایش خاک‌های آلوده به سرب با استفاده از دو گیاه خرفه و تاج‌خروس وحشی}, abstract_fa = {فلزات سنگین یکی از مهم‌ترین آلاینده‌های محیط‌زیست و به‌ویژه منابع خاک و آب هستند. از میان فلزات سنگین، سرب یکی از مهم‌ترین آلاینده‌های سمی است. استفاده از خاک‌های آلوده به سرب، مستلزم آلودگی‌زدایی و بهسازی آن‌ها است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی امکان آلودگی‌زدایی سرب از خاک و تخمین زمان بهینه پالایش با استفاده از گیاهان خرفه و تاج‌خروس وحشی انجام شد. بدین منظور، آزمایشی در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی با 5 تیمار شاهد، 150، 300، 600 و  mg/kg1200 و سه تکرار اجرا شد. نتایج نشان داد که در هر دو گیاه رابطه‌ای غیرخطی و مثبت بین مقدار سرب تجمع یافته در ریشه و ساقه با غلظت سرب موجود در خاک وجود داشت. بیشترین مقدار سرب تجمع یافته در ریشه خرفه و تاج‌خروس وحشی بهترتیب 39/173 و mg/kg 76/149 و در ساقه آن‌ها نیز بهترتیب 01/20 و mg/kg 82/5 به‌دست آمد. فاکتور انتقال در هر دو گیاه کوچک‌تر از یک بوده (برای گیاه خرفه از 62/0 تا 12/0 و برای گیاه تاج‌خروس وحشی از 14/0 تا 04/0) و بیانگر انتقال کمتر سرب از ریشه به اندام هوایی می‌باشد. با توجه به توانایی گیاهان فوق در جذب مقادیر زیاد سرب از ناحیه رشد ریشه، عملکرد گیاهی بالا و توانایی تجمع سرب در اندام‌های قابل‌برداشت، هر دو گیاه برای پاک‌سازی سرب از اعماق سطحی خاک و تا غلظت‌های چندین برابر غلظت مجاز سرب کارآیی بالایی داشتند. لیکن با توجه به زمان پالایش و مقدار زیست‌توده تولیدشده، گیاه تاج‌خروس‌ وحشی از توانایی بیشتری برای بهسازی خاک‌های آلوده برخوردار بود.}, keywords_fa = {آلودگی خاک,استخراج گیاهی,سرب,فاکتور انتقال}, url = {http://www.jewe.ir/article_118406.html}, eprint = {http://www.jewe.ir/article_118406_2a1c61202be3089d8d00f99d8cf9f253.pdf} }
